Set Your Mind Above
Because we have been raised with Christ, we learn to think from His throne rather than from the fear and scarcity of the age.
Setting our minds on things above does not make us indifferent to life on earth. It brings earthly life under the wisdom and lordship of Jesus. We refuse to let anxiety, appetite, status, or the world’s passing values shape our imagination. Through Scripture and the Spirit, our minds are renewed to recognise what is true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise.
A heavenly mind sees earthly life from the reign of Christ.1
