Privacy and Safeguarding Notice

How member information, safety concerns, and independent conduct are handled.

Privacy and safety reports

Member information is used to operate accounts, learning, community, mentoring, care, safety, and required records. Access is limited by role and purpose. A safety report is confidential but cannot be promised absolute secrecy where protection, investigation, legal reporting, or cooperation is required.

  • Report concerns in good faith and include only relevant information.
  • The person reported cannot see the report or internal case notes.
  • Restricted officers may triage, investigate, record actions, and close a case.
  • Records may be retained when reasonably required for safety, accountability, disputes, or law.

Member Responsibility and Unlawful Conduct

Each member is solely responsible for their own conduct, communications, representations, transactions, and compliance with applicable law. Membership does not create employment, agency, partnership, representation, endorsement, or authority to act for Hong Kong City Cloud Ekklesia, Elimelech Ministries, the website, or its owners.

Crime, fraud, violence, harassment, sexual exploitation, child maltreatment, trafficking, illegal goods or services, misuse of personal data, spiritual coercion, and other unlawful or abusive conduct are prohibited. The ministry does not authorise, approve, or endorse such conduct.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website, ministry, and owners are not responsible for a member’s independent conduct outside their reasonable knowledge or control. This statement does not exclude any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for the ministry’s own acts or omissions, data handling, safeguarding response, legal reporting, or cooperation with lawful authorities.

The ministry may suspend access, preserve relevant records, restrict contact, remove content, notify affected persons where appropriate, report suspected unlawful conduct, and cooperate with lawful authorities.

Effective 3 September 2026. This operational notice should be reviewed by qualified Hong Kong legal and safeguarding professionals before public reliance.
